Anthology of the Self - Entry XX
psychdive (or, a thorough dissection of one self-obsessed e-spectre)
Or, play it locally!
Psychdive is flatly the most personal work I've ever written. It's 22 descending sets (or "circle"s) are each formed from either a dream, memory, feeling, repressed desire or spited self within me. It feels, at least to me, the most autobiographical and inseparable-from piece on this site thusfar. Going down each route on the writing side was an experiment in deep fluctuation: I'd finish a writing session feeling miserable, anxious, self-impressed or confused at what I was doing. It is a piece written as a final relief of tension, as a reckoning with Soporfall and as a thorough distillation of all my motifs. I could go through each one, but I feel I'd be demystifying it, not just for you, but for me as the creator of their metaphors (greatly via subconscious ideas). Just... fucking play it. I don't know why you're reading this. It's not that long, and has no paywall.
